Not really a fan of the old style wooden plaque. You should take a look at the wall habitat from McKenzie. It really dresses it up and makes it that much nicer http://www.mckenziesp.com/Wall-Habitat-Kits-C2392.aspx
Thats not to bad for your first!!!! I know how you feel. I was sitting in my treestand all day but at 3:00pm people thought it would be a good idea to drive awith atvs and cut some trees down. It lasted about 20 mins before they left. I was pissed and ready to leave but im glad i didn't. at 430pm a beautiful 140" 8pt walked by and stopped at 20 yards, I made the shot and got the deer. I think I might actually look into creating my own. They do look a little nicer than the plaque you're right.
Looks Good...
How long was the wait for it to be returned?
Rob
Think he posted 4 months , pretty quick i think. My 2012 Blacktail has bin gone for over 3 months. Looks like it still might be another 3. Keeping my fingers crossed
I had a good chuckle at the 2nd picture, as soon as I saw it, I knew you were not married. No wife would be impressed with a buck in the trunk!
Don't you know deer are to be strapped to the hood with the head hanging over the front grill and driven around town for your friends to see before taking home to skin?
Congrats on the nice deer! Your taxidermist did a great job.
It surprisingly fit quite well in a Nissan versa. Who needs a truck anyways when you have a 40mpg off road machine?
