I was looking at 100th anniversary s&w 1911's for a while. Listed new at sfrc for $1350. Friend of mine is into his for about $1850 after tax from a smallish dealer. Seen a few on the EE around $1300-$1500. Managed to pick one up for $1150 shipped so to me that just shows prices are all over the map. Its all what people are willing to pay. I have been looking at a target rifle on the EE that I thought was a decent price, but while I save up funds the price just keeps dropping more and more.

But again remember that is based on how hard it is to find and how bad you want it
have a couple on my list since a while I would pay double the original price if available
Never mind what we say it is only money and in the end you are the one that has to be happy so use the comments as just that opinions
Many guys here go on about the EE but guess what I may have paid a bit too much for a gun but am shooting mine and they still have nothing to save a few % NOT ME life is too short

I get a chuckle out of what Winchester Model 88's & 100's are listed for now. The old timers will tell you they weren't particularly good guns in their time, but apparently their quality and accuracy improves with age

I have one (Win 88) that when I got it was a 4 inch group gun that when I cleaned the bore and bedded it properly it is now a 1.5 inch group gun with most factory ammo and that is great for smooth fast follow-up shots.
