Hi guys, long time since I've posted so I thought I'd use this Forum. Don't want to accidentally post in the wrong forum
Long story short, I have an english made 30 06 from back in the day. It is a mauser action made by churchill arms.
I was so frustrated after taking it to poco range, I dropped it off at Italian to see if they could help the rifle.
I've had the rifle for just over a year and have been able to make a 2" group at best from a kneeling position at 100 yards.
After going hunting and of coarse seeing nothing, I took it to the range the following week. The groups were bigger and it was off. I tried shooting from a bench and kneeling. 2 boxes of ammo and 2 hours later, there was little improvement.
E 2 shots in the center and 4 inches high and then one off in the lower left field....
Maybe it's not the rifle, maybe it's me.
Is there anyone around here or a school that teaches posture and technique? preferably female? just kidding.
Thanks for the help!
