My DE 44 mag is great to shoot and with the Hendsolt mounted is an easy shooter to 50 yards with accuracy ( over the sandbags )...
I like the 44 mag so much, i think i am gonna start a collection of them...
In rifles nothing beat the 308 for me.... In handguns, the 44 mag are my favorites.... JP.

Just look at a Hicock 45 video, i was saying that the Model 29 was one of is favorite and the one he got in 74 had in excess of 75.000 rounds true it with only the ejector rod replaced, quite amazing... JP.

I use to have a 10 inch barrel. Loved it. Even had an adjustable front sight.

His is a pinned and recessed model with no MIM parts or lock. I doubt you'd see that kind of milage on a newer model. (not that anyone shoots 44mag that much ;) )

44 mag is a lot more powerfull than 357 mag but ammo cost more... JP.

I want a .44 Mag but I won't even consider it until I set up for reloading my own ammo. A model 29 is definitely on my list though.

Congrats, Caramel.
