Please excuse me if I'm mistaken, but isn't the information offered by Ian Anderson in post #330 not exactly what you TDC and others have been asking for in order to explain what I and others have been stating that there is a difference between a USA Colt and CDN Colt? Why these CC's are world class military combat rifles and are an improved model over the their USA counterpart due to very detailed build process'/materials, hand guards and sights etc., etc. and are in fact worth paying more for (just not as much as CC/Korth were originally asking IMO).
As it offers a few clues as to why the Colt Canada rifles are known by many experts in the industry (including the Spec. Op.'s Forces the world over) to be the highest quality rifles being produced for leading militaries today and also explains how they are in demand by these same experts.
Now to answer Mister Donut regarding what a CGN'er like myself would pay. Well considering I can currently buy a DDM4V7 for $1,200 I would feel comfortable paying about 25% to 30% more at this time, so around $1,500 to $1,600 depending on the model.
