Does your EXPS absolute co-witness with the irons or is it lower third?

@MarcelM,
the EXPS is actually higher that the front post.
I since have installed my ARMS 40L behind the G33. The Troy won't clear it but my 40L does.
hitting the range with her on Sat.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at Eotech but would prefer co witness. XPS is supposed to be lower than EXPS, will try to borrow one for a test run.

I can't use by back up sight without removing the optic.
To be honest, it is not really an issue for me since the EXPS is so easy to remove. we are looking at 2-3 sec max.

Armalite used to ship all their AR's with OD Green furniture and charged $100.00 extra for black furniture a number of years ago. If I ever decide to pony up the $ for an SA20 I will keep the black furniture and change out the collapsible stock for a solid stock to recreate the C7A1 I used in the 90's.

Green plastic is in limited supply these days? Oh well now that I know this I'm going to continue my funds into m16a4 clone and see if the green furniture become available in the future. This seems like a missed opertunity to sell even more units

According to CC, the furniture is not being made anymore and the sets that they are making available are ones they got back from the client who no longer needed them.

There just isn't that much market for the stuff to warrant making more. As such, they decided to offer the green to those who qualify for the IOP first. If they have any left after that, they say they will offer them for public sale.

I am guessing the next rifles released for sale by CC will be IUR rifles and carbines and nobody will be interested in green furniture (grip and buttstock) for those as they will want more modern designs.

The 30th anniversary design rifles appeal to a certain segment of the Canadian AR buying public, many of whom want a recreation of the current basic issued canadian service rifle. The next rifles out won't (again, speculating here) but rather will appeal to those who want more modern, up to date features and even better accuracy from a free floating barrel and whatever other improvements they include.

You can get green furniture just not the CC Fiberglass stuff.
