There were none available and we got a small quantity back. It's not that we don't value all customers, the fact was there just isn't a lot of the real green furniture. I thought it would be a nice way to honour those who served to offer it to them first. We'll open up what we can to everyone shortly. If the opportunity arises to get more for you we will. Unfortunately with the quantities required for the commercial market in Canada the price would be outrageous if we ordered just that many.
 
Ok, now that that’s settled, back to pictures? Just got this guy in the mail from Cadex. For $48 , I figured what the hell, might as well do a bit of Frankensteining so I took off the KAC/P&S vertical grip and threw on the Cadex one. The last thing I want now is an Elcan. As I understand it, the C79A2 is unobtanium, so the Specter DR is what I’m thinking about....way out of my price range so I’ll have to sell a few toys (just sold my first AR last night).

That's great to hear Gunnerlove as I would be very interested in a C8IUR-11 with the 11.6" barrel or the C8IUR14 (The C8Patrol), it would be a tough decision, but one decision I may be willing to sell a couple other firearms to fund.

Same here, first range day with her.
Fired 60 rds with mine. 5 rds groupings less than 2 inches at 100m, only using the mag for support with a EXPS3-4 and G33 (3X). I was using XTac 62 gr. When I picked up my brass, found out that I had a split casing (1 inch long) and I didn't noticed when firing.
Also did a rapid fire 15 rds (3 mags) at 100m with a 8 inch group.
Fires the same as my issued C8. I quickly got used to the trigger (same as C8) and found it to be very crisp for an issued trigger.
Very pleased with my purchase. I don't regret at all having sold my KAC SR-15. Will try her out at 200m / 300m next time.
She is now my go to AR.
 
ChrisAlston, I love the Elcan SpecterDr and LMT SOPMOD combination. Great looking rifle. I bought a Norgon Ambi-catch like the C7/C8's use. Works well with PMags but tends to stick with aluminum mags.
