Difference between Grade 1 and Grade 2 "Made in Germany" Sig P226 refurbs?????

Hey there. I'm curious about your "Made in Germany" P226 refurbs..........

You advertise yours as Grade 2 for a very competitive price, while a few other dealers seem to have obtained Grade 1 units, but are selling those for a premium.

Can you guys explain the difference between Grade 1 and Grade 2 refurbs?

Paul

Whoops...........

Just noticed you're selling Grade 1 units as well. Although your prices, as usual, are competitive.

I would still like to know the difference between the two price points. Are you able to post a couple of pics showing what causes the +$100 differential?

Paul

With my research before I bought my Sig 226 9mm, every store that was selling them for approx upto $1000, or close to. When you saw an advertised price around $845.00, they were refurbished like new from Sig. But if you go to Cabella's website for Canada, New for $879.00. So why would you buy a refurbished one for a Littlte less, go new.... But that's a Sig made in the States though.

I understand the grade 1 is as new, and the grade 2 has minor holster wear but mechanically new... my grade 2 should show up in a few days. gotta love 10% off!

Just received my Grade 2, and it has minor wear....will post some pics later today. Very slight muzzle wear, most wear I can see is around the magwel, and the front of the grip (like were a ring would be on the hand)

Other than that, it looks excellent! 10% off, and free shipping can't be beat.

Here are some pics of my grade 2. ymmv....Not too shabby if you ask me...

Comes in a nice factory Sig case, and an owners manual is included as well..

This pic shows the most wear, at least on mine.

This pic shows the wear spot on the front tip of the slide. Aside from whats shown here, just the odd faint scratch here and there.

Very nice! At almost half the cost of new, and being German produced, these are a decent deal. The 10% off and free shipping did it for me!

The Ammo Source

I bought a Grade 2 as well. Those pictures are really encouraging. I figured for how much I ever get to shoot pistols at the range, it should last a lifetime......and for the price it was a great excuse to finally get to try a German made Sig.

Right on sight says refurb with slight muzzle wear near slide. I'm sure they look at em too, to make sure you won't be disappointed. That would be bad talk all over online sites. Which most will try and avoid. After seeing the pics of the one delivered in this thread, I'm very interested in one. Hope they have some in a month as I'm at tech training this month
