Why is it always IRG? There are Other Dealers here that import whatever you want bypassing the Canadian Distributor Monopoly. Doing it LONG Before IRG showed up and it was o.k I used one for a G30 and G32 before IRG was on here. Does anyone ##### at them for doing so called 'Grey Market' imports?

I think it is because IRG figured out how to do it efficiently and cheaply and brought it to the masses that has some peoples panties tied up tight.

Customers in BC only get charged 5% tax if they buy from stores outside BC.
so the 13% tax argument is non relevant.

Correct, and I do and am sure most on here spend locally, but for a long time we needed a correction and as I said before I believe this is it, the new norm! It isn't just guns, it is everything, just buy a book locally or even go on amazon, the prices are different! Buy a vehicle, you can save over $10000. on a mid priced vehicle buying in the U.S. Same thing went on there, the dealers tried to block by not honouring warranty! Can't say really that we are hurting the local economy as the vehicles I wanted were made in Mexico! Lots of examples of Canadians being taken advantage of! This won't hurt our dealer network,, only in the interim as prices adjust and then margins will adjust!

So I guess there is only people from bc who buy gun in Canada?

And to further add to that, here in n-b there is only handful of place that sells gun, most of them are only stocking Remington, savage and the big names, it's store's full of bolt action 30-06 and break action 12 gauge. There is one big store in nb and it's the gun dealer. There over 6 hours from here so I am not wasting the money to go there buy a gun and the 2 times I bought from there they shipped in a box 3 times too big and charged me 45$ shipping! For 45$ shipping I can buy a gun anywhere in Canada and irunguns and it's going to cost me less in shipping! And wen I'll want a Remington 783 in 30-06 I'll go bargain my local store.

Speaking of Rem 783.....I got the wanstalls $299 shipped deal, plus there is a $40 mail in rebate for these.....IRUNGUNS can't even beat that lol

Reviews are pretty good for the price!
I think I would have bought both!
I asked IRG if they could put this on but no answer, so I think you are right, shows Canadian dealers can do it too if they want! It will come full circle soon enough and all dealers will benefit because we will fill our credit cards with the new lower priced equipment!

I just go where the cheap prices are, no particular favouratism here. Just hope the price war isn’t over by the time I find some money to buy something while it’s on, haha!

Im just happy that the whole thing is settled and that I have a colt now. 3 gun is wasted for me this year though since i still have to install the compensator and the noveske nsr rail on it, but whatever, its all good.

Quebec only pay 5% to... Great shopping outside the province, you get a 10% discount on the spot... JP.

i'm new to AR so if i'm gonna get the dpms from IRG or One Shot Tactical, what are the common parts need to be replaced & what should i upgrade (trigger, sights...)?
