Discounted AR-15

thanks guys for the valueable info
i'm new to AR so if i'm gonna get the dpms from IRG or One Shot Tactical, what are the common parts need to be replaced & what should i upgrade (trigger, sights...)?

maybe just spend the money on mags and ammo before you spend money on the bolt on stuff build the fundamentals before ninja gun.

Here's the link to the Oracle on our site.

$50 rebate from DPMS available (taking the price to $610)
$45 BFG Victory sling provided for free as well. (basically making the rifle $565 CDN)

These are in stock ready to ship ;)

We have Magpul stock and forends for these as well :D
Wow what a deal! I have the ar bug . I got a dd last year, a colt coming from irg and if I had a couple of bucks available I would definitely order your dpms! Too bad I can't pay it 20$ per week haha

i'm not gonna to upgrade anything till i find something that i don't like. but it's good to know what parts should get upgrade before hand.

if your anything like me youll be changing out grip, stock, charging handle and safety selector first.
ive found these piss me off the most from most factory rifles and usually go first so now when I buy a ar I buy these parts at the same time.

what grip, stock & charging handle you think fit a small guy with small hands like me? any style/brand. thanks

hitzy, what your forgetting is that canada NEEDS the middleman so they can purchase enough quantity to get a discount.....

think of it this way, the smallest most anti-gun state in the usa is still a bigger gun market then all of canada combined.

without the middleman doing the bulk imports the little places would not have the time or the inclination to even stock "black firearms"..... a little store stocking 5-10 ar15s from 3 different manufacturers just does not have the manpower to import themselves

again, we are kicking the canadian firearms industry in the teeth with our bargin hunting and buying grey market guns. end of story.

I just read the entire thread to this point and have been following the pricing battle...

I'd like to say, I hope NS is reading this. Their service is ####ing terrible. I have not ordered from IRG but Steve is now on my list to keep constantly checking for deals. I'd also rather ship to the states than NS

Also, based on how some dealers have respond to IRG, I'm even more likely to order from IRG. They might be helping or hurting the Canadian market but I love the deals even though I haven't taken advantage of them anywhere yet.

Only thing on the Oracle I would change if I was buying one..... Magpul MOE grip, and hand guard. Everything else is just fine as is.

What DISCOUNT??

If there was a discount, the distributor keeps the profit. They don't pass it on. Why do all the dealers charge the same price...because the distributor sets the price.

Time to get rid of them.

Let dealers source their own product if they want. Why do dealers need exclusive contracts and agreements?

If a store has a product that someone wants at a reasonable price, they will buy it.

Another Daniel Defence deal is coming. Just give us a couple of days to figure out exactly what we are going to do and catch up with orders and e-mails from the long weekend before we start another round.
Best regards
Guy
Always wanted a DD I will be watching closely.

Bass Pro, Cablelas, Canadian tire, etc are getting big enough in Canada to be their own importers and to be competitive, they will have to, IRG is setting the bar, the rest have to follow! Most dealers on this site can do the paperwork to import or we at least need more than one major importer to keep the competition! WE have a capitalist society, more or less, and this is the way it works!
IRG seen a way to make a reasonable profit while giving us a better deal and more choice in the marketplace. In our area the Canadian tires are gearing up for selling firearms, first it was just going to be 2 of them but now most CTC in the area are building gun shelves and enlarging their hunting section! The registry is over and these companies realize there is a lot more interest in the sport now! IRG seen it and is trying to fill the void! Our sponsors will also find a way to sell more lower priced guns to this exploding Canadian market!

A point in fact, wanstalls had a sale on a couple hunting guns last week, to short for me to take advantage, but at the prices they were selling I would have bought both instead of just one! Now I would have to buy 2 scopes and ammo for both firearms, cleaning gear reloading gear etc. these items get purchased over and over again and are where the big profit should would lay, similar to buying a movie ticket the big money is in the concessions!! Get the guns out there at a reasonable price and then sell lots of add ons !
