Okay, here's the deal, I'm a Police Constable hopeful, I have my Restricted PAL to help me prepare for Alymer (still going through the hiring process with a Police Service here in Hamilton) and, as a back-up if I don't get hired with them I'm looking at sticking with what I do (Child and Youth Worker) as well as starting part-time with Brinks.
I'm shooting a G22 .40 S&W Typically I use American Eagle by Federal, 180 grain but I shot these with 185 grain and noticed considerably less recoil and generally shot 25% better!
ALL of the following targets were shot at 10 metres. The shots fired with laser are the internal laser that replaces the recoil spring, the lasermax LMP-1141P. The sights on my Glock are the trijicon night sights.
First up: Slow Fire, Isoceles, No Targetting Laser Used:
Next: Rapid Fire, Isoceles, No Targetting Laser Used:
Now: Rapid Fire, Weaver Stance with Lasermax On:
Dominant Hand: Rapid Fire, Right hand only single handed pistol firing technique, shoulder aligned directly with target so my head was turned to the right, No Targetting Laser:
Lastly: Rapid Fire, Right hand only single handed pistol firing, same position as previously mentioned, with Lasermax On:
Thats it, let me know what you think, give me some input, help me become a better shooter. I do shoot as far as 25 metres but I'm concentrating on getting my technique right first then advancing to greater distances, I want to build my confidence before making greater challenges.
