Dissapointed with a new rifle....**updated**

:dancingbanana: You get what you pay for! :dancingbanana:

It is better to spend too much on something that has a high degree of quality and is useful than to spend too little on something that is of low quality and useless. You can get most of your money out of the first but lose most everything in the case of the latter.

Sorry buddy!

Dont worry dude, no banana from me unless you do that again, but at least you learned your lesson and now you know. Someone always has to get the shaft so others can learn from it too, im sorry in this case it happened to be you.

I have considered dealing with them but I won't now. You should put a massive post that says deal with lever arms at your own risk in the general firearms forum.

:dancingbanana: ,

sorry I had to even though I am looking at a cheap gun as my next purchase as I type.

I have so many old guns that don't break, why would anyone want a new one that does?

What a shame! Alan Lever ran a good business for decades. I bought my first half dozen or more firearms from him in the late 60's.

Missed that I was jammin at Woodstock.

I just love the threads that slam a company....

One guy out of hundreds gets a bad deal and the rest of us jump on board and slam the company....

I have had several dealings with Lever Arm's over the years and the service has been excellent. I have even traded rifles in to purchase new firearms and gotten excellent trade in value from the owner.

I will definately use them again...

Now don't be imagining things there ET....

When you buy low quality firearms you should expect to get a piece of cr*p now and then.... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

That is why for my 30 or so firearms I only own 1 Chinese rifle an SKS that I bought from Lever Arms last year for my son. For the money I spent I got what I paid for.

You know cam, that is a very good point.

I have never brought anything from there so I cannot comment otherwise.

I complained about the merch... but most of all about the service.
Instead of an appology, I got to bargain for what I actually paid for.

I agree that most bananas are for buying chicom stuff, but if you have time, count them.... at least 10 % are for me dealing with the aforementioned company. I'll save them ripe and ready for the day you'll post your experience.

On the side note, you can notice that I didn't come out and said.... <<they're a bad company>> <<don't buy from them>> and so on...
I laid out what happened to me - using as much objectivity as I could gather. I refrained myself from derrogatory comments or mumbled expletives....after all I ordered the rifle about a month ago.. and I still don't have it entirely.... plus I will never be able to enjoy it. Ever.
