I went to install Trijicon HDs on my Walther P99 and discovered it required a specialized tool. This is because of the tight quarters within the slide and the very thin 3/16" nut used for these sights.
I couldn't find this info anywhere so I'm sharing what I ended up using:
Just a standard multi-driver. Had to file the length of the shaft down some to get rid of the taper. Once the hex shape was exposed at the tip, the fit was perfect. Of course it still functions fine as a multi-driver.
I'm not sure if it will fit in the glock slide, but I think it probably will. Worked great on my Walther. I understand they use the same screw. Hope this helps someone.
