Dlask 6.5" (Post#89 for Review and Pics)

Probably the only gun made that you never have to shoot - just take it out and suddenly , you're all alone. Zombies, muggers, hard core outlaw bikers - one look and it's see ya later. Nice Piece.

The flash of that thing must be nuts. The end of the shell must be getting close to the muzzle. Not that i would know, what it would look like from that view.:D
..and your hand would get blasted with carbon and gasses.

that is freakin sweet!

But I dont like Dlask's prices, insane prices or else I would buy one.

Come again? Dlask is a Canadian firearms manufacture, not Chinese, sorry if we pay our workers more than $10 a day here. Their prices are not only reasonable, they're right in line with mass producers like Remington despite only being essentially a small scale custom shop themselves. Dlask shorty barrels run under $300, a new 870 barrel from Remington's barely less than that. And, the Remington barrel doesn't come in your choice of 12.5 or 14". On top of that, Dlask is just a small operation on Annacis Island BC, it's not some large industrial manufacturer as you might imagine, just a small shop with less than a half dozen employees I'd wager. Given what they're turning out, their prices are MORE than fair. I have no stake in the company, but ignorance peeves me is all. I hear all this clamoring for a homegrown firearms industry, and when we have one, people complain about their reasonable prices... unreal.

Dlask price... I guess it's just a matter of perspective!

Personnaly, I think they are quite reasonable. Even more so when you take into account the fact that they are making small production runs of highly desirable items.

I doubt there would be that many 12" shotguns around if it wasn't for Dlask making the barrel available a few years ago... I doubt there would be ANY 8.5" shotguns around if it wasn't for them... and I honestly never thought we would have guys playing with 6.5" shotguns :dancingbanana: if it wasn't for them.

If you want to get sticker shock... try to find a factory Remington 870 8.5" shotgun in civilian hands in Canada... and see how much $$ the owner wants to part with it... Dlask are pretty much a bargain.

You know, that little gun makes more noise by its looks! If you know what I mean!
Its way more fun than the coalition thinks you deserve. remember Boys, its your Canadian OBLIGATION to get one....because you can.

true dat. Plus he makes some very nice custom 1911's.

^ just as useless as a pistol...? and non restricted!

Personally the configuration would not lend it's self the application that I carry a short SGfor (Teddy bears while fishing). My FABARM 14inch does the job perfectly and I feel confident, competant and safe rapid firing it in drils.

To each their own...

As mentioned Megan Fox hot looking!

I think we should clarify something hear. Dlask is NOT a gun manufacturer, if they were a manufacturer their guns would be cheaper. They are a customizing shop/smith. When you buy a Dlask gun, you are buying a Remington product as well as a Dlask product, and a good product at that. This is a product aimed at a smaller market, therefor being a "specialty product" it should be more to purchase. It's called retail.

It's like a granit countertop, only one in ten houses have it, but the ones that do felt they needed it and paid for it appropriatly. and it's better.

A 6.5 " shotgun barrel is useless indeed. Its a prop gun for sure. However, i'd still add it to the pile of useless guns in my useless collection that i shoot useless ammo at useless targets while wasting away rather uselessly.

I made a similar point above, so not to undermine it, but Dlask is a manufacturer as well, just very small scale. They make from the ground up Dlask branded 1911's, AR's, and movie prop guns.
