Well, what I did, was a lubed up the gas key, and then I shot it, after 40 rounds it worked smoothly. However, I don't think mine was as tight as others.
Other things you could try, is measure, your gas tube and see if you could find a drill bit the same size.
Drilling out the gas key, I don't know if I like that idea, mess is up and you have a bad seal.
Another trick is to rig a piece of sandpaper as the end of a dowel. Given the size of the gas key, maybe a 17cal jag will hold a piece, spin it in there with a drill to lap it.
What I would probably do, is remove my gas tube, put one end of it in a drill, and then spin it while holding a piece of sandpaper on the end that mates with the gas key. Lap it down till it fits tight with the gas key.
Tight but not smooth. Fit it so that you still have to kind of force it, but it's loose enough you can get it on and off, then fire the rifle till it breaks in.
I'm worried that even after you fit it, something else will go wrong. Some people who have reported the BCG fitting fine, and have been using it, have suffered bolt failures.
I received a reply from Richard and am sending back my BCG. He was quick and courteous. Assuming I get my refund in a timely manner ill continue doing business with them...
are they covering return shipping?
To be honest I didn't ask. I'd rather be out $10 than $215. He does seem to push a replacement over a refund but so far so good.
I just emailed too asking for replacement or refund we will see how long it takes to hear back.
So I sold mine on the EE for a big Loss.
Lesson learned.
The Mags they sold were rejected crap and I had to return them and lose shipping both ways. They shipped me defective product and I had to pay to shipping both ways... $&%^$&$^~~!!!!!
The BGC was crap and I lost money on the EE.
This dealer should be Banned from CGN.

Why wouldn't you return the bcg and mags? They would cover your return shipping. Beats selling for a loss...
I just can't help but notice. If this had been an NEA hate thread it would have been locked long ago

That would have been NEA's fault as there shills would have been all over it......
NEA put out some dodgy products at times but imo that is where the comparison with this Dlask issue ends. One thing NEA was good at was to quickly look after their customers when they had a problem, cover shipping both ways, etc.
