Dlask lowers

They are quite nice. Only complaint I've had with the two I've built is the tightness of some of the takedown pin holes, and the buffer threads.

The new Dlask lowers are very good and I've had no issues with mine at all, unlike my earlier lower (rough threads, tight pins). The magwell is a bit tight at first, but one range session with your mags and they'll insert and drop free just fine. Thermolds won't, but see Deckard's post above.
If you do order a Dlask lower, be sure to write (don't rely on a phone call) in PLAIN ENGLISH what it is you want. Trust me on that one.

Why bother with something that may or may not accept pins and or mags? (thermolds or other makes)

I have and use thermolds, and they work just fine for our 5rnd mag laws.
I'm betting 80% of the people that slam the thermolds on here have never used them and 80% of those that have, haven't used them on full auto.

well if we are still talking dlask lowers
al lthe lowers they have made i nthe last 2yrs will not take themold mags
the back take down pin is to tight.
like the other guy said why buy somthing that don,t work 100%, if i wanted that id buy ans norinco.
they idea of the ar15 consept as it is today it that u can do a quick change to any set up u like and that any upper ,lower mafs sites or parts will fit
the armalite lower is only 30$ more and the TSE DPMS lower ins only $20 more
id love to buy a canada made item, but only if it works
bbb

No problems whatsoever with my Dlask AR ... or my Norinco for that matter.

As to thermold mags, my Dlask lower will work with them, the issue is one of not dropping free when the mag release is pressed ... uh, pull them out by hand. For match use I will use other mags anyways.

No offense guys, but it seems to me some are exaggerating the troubles they have with these lowers, which are of good quality .... and Canadian made.

BTW, my Norinco rifle will accept and release any AR magazine, Thermolds included, and shoots extremely accurately ... even if it is kind of ugly.

Hmm, I have a DAR 701 and the overall impression is very good. Upper and lower go together very well. I dont want pins coming off on their own anyway. I use standard army 30rnd mags and they drop free fine. Reliable, accurate, lovely.

Im happy with my three. All are relatively tight and the last one has a RRA trigger. Its true about the pins being tight, but one all ion place make for a great lower at a great price.

I especially like the "Made in Canada" part.

I just hate the white paint markings (DAR701) need a way to subdue that .. get a newer one heard that theyre painted with a light grey rather than bright white letters.

I'm getting mine as soon as i can get my ass out to Delta!

What parts kit do you recommend with this lower? The one that Dlask has or the Armalite/Eagle Arms one from Wolv.? Or does it even matter?

I agree with badboybeeson, it should work 100%, these don't seem like big problems so I'll wait until they've been fixed.

My new Dlask lower came with an Armalite lower parts kit....very nice.8) I think that's what Dlask is using now. If you ask for and prepay for the lower parts kit to be installed, make sure that the lady understands exactly what that means.
