Ha sanyone had problems mounting vertical grips to the dlask quad rail, is it a mil std rail, cant get a tango down battlegrip forgrip to slide onto rail, looking for some info, thanks

Not in spec., many times rails are not on straight, no way to index them properly, set screws come loose when you least expect it resulting in vert grip turning into side grip. Not first hand experience but 1st thru dozens and counting so far...

I'd send it back in a heart beat, that's the last thing you need is any out of mil spec part, they'll probably get it to go for you, but what will be next?

Supposedly mil-spec as per Dlask but I have the same problem with my G&G vertical foregrip.

I brought it back to Dlask and they filed a bit off the inside of the G&G.

Mine is a tad too tight before they filed the inside.

Hope this helps !

I couldn't even begin to get a TD foregrip to slide more than about an inch onto the rail of my Dlask tube. Rather than "adjust" the grip's angles with a file, I gave up and flogged it to another CGN member. I got a smaller, cheaper Knight's grip and it fits both me and the gun just fine. :D

The only piece i've bought from dlask (and i didn't know it was dlask at the time) was the full lenght tube. what a p.o.s.!!!

bbl nut was drilled too deep and required a spacer, rails are not straight OR milspec and without a healthy dose of loctite will come off.

I was looking at Lever Arms web site and wondering why one would buy a Dlask arms M311 deluxe model for $1800, when you can get a complete Rock River rifle (DEA Gov't model) for $2900. Or a Basic Entry Tactical model for $1329?

Thanks for the replys will try the knights arm one if can find a dealer

Wolverine should be getting some MI handguards (reviews say they are good, just a tad heavy but good and way cheaper) these allow for a flush fit with the upper and free-float they also have DD rails, also Questar is advertizing the Surefire rail. Or else EE may have some rails from KAC or others.

I had heard that as well. I went to dlasks site and the info was not crystal clear as to the origin of their parts. Can any dlask owners speak to this?

Every one wants to copy Knights, But he protects his products so well that they can't copy without a law suit so if you dont want to pay for a knights you are making do with less. I am not saying Knights is the best............Just there is'nt anything beter. Yet.

I'll take a LT and DD rail anyday over a Knights

While I will agree that there are lower cost rails that have less ruggedness or cheaper design than KAC, but for some it suits their needs fine. If you are looking for better units then many mfg make medium and high end designs, some of these now offer flush to upper designs. Mfg such as DD, LARUE, TROY, PRI, MI, B&T etc... make great offerings

I have a Dlask FF railed handguard on my Armalite. I was unable to mount a Tango Down vertical grip to it, and have sent it back to Joe for a re-do. I'm willing to give him the benifit of the doubt until I see how he deals with the issue.

It appears that the rails are not tall enough. Accessories which clamp on work fine, but anything that needs to slide-on bottoms out.

For those of you that don't know any better all above named rails are fine.

This is not ment to be mean, Just fact. My 300+ installs Of asorted rails is free info, Most customers ignore us when we tell of the problems of others,............................untill they have the problem, Then they say why didn't you tell me? I say I did, but in the end I do what the coustomer asks. Doing the work pays the bills and fixing coustomers stuff gives me product knowlege that can be past on to other coustomers to be ignored.

Once agane Knights is not the best..............
