DLASK rail questions

Come on man, that was a good post!! People need to hear this.......

but I'm really understanding what "wrenchie" and yourself are saying, beating the dlask horse over and over again and people will still try them anyway and learn on there own dime.

It is sad that Dlask is not making better offerings, with the US export issue they could be making some good coin by offering comparable quality rail systems for black rifles, and maybe even European since they cant get US products either.

Ok, I recieved my upper back from Dlask and I had to resurrect this thread for a final report.

After paying to ship my upper back to Dlask to fix the out-of-spec rail problem, I get a call from the front office lady wanting my credit card number to pay for return shipping (charging for return shipping on warranty work? come on  ). So I'm now out ~$80.00 plus the hassle. I spoke to Joe on the phone, he tells me he found the problem and corrected it.

This afternoon I put my rifle back together, go to mount my TD vertical grip, and no luck! it's still not even close to going on. It doesn't look like Joe fixed or changed anything. I know the problem isn't the grip - it mounts fine on all my other 1913 rails.

There's no doubt in my mind - the Dlask rail system is junk. Watch for mine in the Equipment Exchange (for very cheap) once my new Larue 9.0 comes in.

now that's business acumen...$80.00 hits must really cut down on warranty claims....and think of the bragging rights, 'our last thousand units had no returns' (i mean come on...they'll never get there any other way).

thank god for the I.B.S. support group that sparrow hosts...great 6 step program and all the coffee and sugar cookies you can eat.

we meet tuesday nights at 7 pm at sparrows house,(EDIT by Mod...address removed for sparrows protection)and you can always phone him at (Edit) if you need to talk - 24/7, he's that type of guy. with his help we are all making REAL progress and that's what matters (my rifle and i are finally talking again).

cheer up MikeyT...just think, you coulda spent big money and been in the same boat. a rail is getting off lightly.

Not good products but I hear they have excellent secretaries, who are very understanding and know lots about the product offered. hahahahah

I got the same phone call when I sent my Dlask M4 back because the railed handguard was crooked. I told them I wasn't going to pay for return shipping, and a week later they shipped it to me at their expense.

My quad rail POS will be coming off too, possibly before I ever mount anything on it. Can anyone tell me what tools I need, or how to remove it?

Mikey, just buy ammo dude, the LaRue rail while very nice won't help you shoot any better, take the money and spend it all on ammo...JL, I think Joe and I live in the same neighborhood dude...scarey.

Not in spec., many times rails are not on straight, no way to index them properly, set screws come loose when you least expect it resulting in vert grip turning into side grip. Not first hand experience but 1st thru dozens and counting so far...

Yipe! Sounds like a nightmare, how could they responsibly market that?
