Yes, around the CA$680 - $700 price range.similar to the current ~$700 price? Or the MSRP I'm seeing some places of $900?
I don't know if I want to wait that long. But I also don't want to buy an older model if the new model is going to be better for the same price.
A bold statementNo, not downmarket - just competing with everything out there head-on. Dollar for dollar their products would be better than the competition.
I’m not going to get into a brand bashing argument. I will tell you straight up that at the exact same price, there aren’t other products that will beat the Arken or the DNT scopes. Look at what several industry experts have said about these products. People that have years of experience including some well respected ex snipers. Anyway, buy what your budget allows and your taste dictates.A bold statement
Athlon has several levels of offerings, where the DNT fits in will need to be judged
TOR - same as on the DNT 7-35 with 0.2 MRAD graduations.Any update on what the reticle will be on the new DNT 5-25?
Any update on the DNT 5-25?We don’t yet but expect it to be similar in price to the Arken EP5. But as with the DNT 7-35x56, it will have enhancements not found on the EP5, like better (more modern) reticle which is fully illuminated, supplied built in throw lever and some cosmetic enhancements.
ETA is still not known, but expecting them most probably in April with some luck.
Curious about this too.Any update on the DNT 5-25?
We're hoping (fingers crossed) to see them early June. There's an incoming shipment end of each month, and they're NOT yet ready for end of April shipment - so hoping for them to leave China end of May, to arrive here in early June.Any update on the DNT 5-25?
The hunting ones as well?I have them IN STOCK, ready to ship. And it's nicer scope all around compared to the Arken EP5 Gen 2.
I was referring to the DNT 7-35x55 in that reply. Which scope are you referring to?The hunting ones as well?
Not sure about Sask, but they are illegal in British Columbia.What is the law regarding thermal and IR scopes in Canada ?
I believe they are named Hound...I was referring to the DNT 7-35x55 in that reply. Which scope are you referring to?
The Hound scopes are not in production yet. Probably in June/July. They cannot yet give me a definite ETAI believe they are named Hound...
Unfortunately, as it's not yet been released, we don't have pricing. It seems they're a bit behind with the launch of a few of their new products.any timelines or pricing on the new 650r?.
ps I called DNT yesterday and was told the 650 is still in development not production and was made clear to me it wont be anytime soonUnfortunately, as it's not yet been released, we don't have pricing. It seems they're a bit behind with the launch of a few of their new products.
With DNT, the MOMENT we get new products and pricing released, I will always update the threads on here.
There are several new products in the pipeline over the next 1-3 months....
* Thermnight TNC650R
* The One 5-25x56 riflescope
* Hound 2-12x42 and 3-18x50 Riflescopes
* Hound Thermal Monoculars
Hopefully we get them ALL before the hunting season comes around.
Cheers

Gotcha - I speak directly to the owner of DNT Optics in Texas and China, and to the Canadian distributors. I've actually used the pre-production prototype, so it's coming, but like I said, sometime over the next 1-3 months. 3 months from now is early November. They want to launch it before winter.ps I called DNT yesterday and was told the 650 is still in development not production and was made clear to me it wont be anytime soon
good to hear. any guess on price points vs 635? also I assume this will all get hit with tariffs now?Gotcha - I speak directly to the owner of DNT Optics in Texas and China, and to the Canadian distributors. Wild guess, I'd say 10% more than the 635. And NO, we won't have tariffs on DNT - mainly because NONE of our DNT units come via the USA - we get them straight from the factory in China by Air Freight. And Canada has no duty on Chinese imports in this sector at least.good to hear. any guess on price points vs 635? also I assume this will all get hit with tariffs now?
