Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new to the club, and really new to guns in general, so forgive me if this is a really obvious or silly question. I really like the look and feel of the Beretta 92FS, and am thinking of getting one once my RPAL comes in. In doing my research on it, I found out that it's basically the non-military version of the M9 handgun used by the US Military (or rather the M9 is the military version of the 92FS, but anyway...). I was wondering if these are ever available for civilians to own? I noticed some military surplus pistols from other places (like the Tokarev TT-33s that everyone seems to love from Kelly's), so I figured it was worth asking.
I tried searching, but unfortunately "M9" is only 2 characters so most searches drop it as being "too short" of a search term.

I can't stand the slanted dust cover. Just ruins the lines of the pistol IMO.
