I have to say that I like the Gen3 glock default grip way more than the Gen4. But I have a Gen4 now and it is not giving me good grip compare to other guns I have tried. Talon grip is kinda pricy. I have seen other people saying they use grip tape. I have some leftover from renovation but those things are like freaking roughest sand paper. Sure it will grip but it will destroy my hand *LOL*. I also heard someone said they use skateboard grip tape. Any difference in those? As I would imagine those I have for putting on stairs are for gripping shoes.. not hands (duh? silly me) Is the rubber sleeve any good? I don't wanna wear gloves if I dont have to but is there any good solution to improving the Gen4 Glock grip (I know some of you will say the BEST solution is to sell your Glock and get a better gun... I mean besides that =P ) If you know something that works well for you please share here. Thanks!

I use Talon grips on my Glocks.

Not sure what you consider expensive. Under $20 on Amazon.

My hands are pretty tough anyway, so i don't notice it. Since the gun doesn't move, can't take much skin with it.

Makes a huge difference in cold/wet weather, especially if you shoot 500+ rounds a session.

I put Talon grips on my canik tp9sa (which is for sale on the EE - shameless plug). The difference was amazing. They go on easily and really improved the purchase on the polymer frame. Any polymer frame pistol I buy from now on will be outfitted with these.

Loved the Talon grips on my Gen 4 Glock 17 but they started peeling off after only a few months of light use. Before I get flamed, the gun was wiped down with alcohol wipes before the Talon's were applied and a heat gun was used to lightly heat the grips post-application....and I didn't get my greasy paws on the glue surface during application.

Others may have had a better experience than me.
