If you have a 1950 dated Long Branch, I need some information please: :runaway:

1. what are the first 3 digets of the serial #? eg.) 91L6
2. Is the action blued or parkerized?
3. what is the barrel date? ( 2 digets found on the knox-form) eg.) '50
4. is the barrel parkerized or blued?
5. is the bolt parkerized or blued?
6. is the striker parkerized or blued?

My 1950 Longbranch has;
1. 91L8
2. blued
3. Huh? Can't see a date on the exposed portions of the barrel...
4. blued
5. blued
6. blued

3. what is the barrel date? ( 2 digets found on the knox-form) eg.) Undated - this one is a DCRA conversion to 7.62
4. is the barrel parkerized or blued? Blued
5. is the bolt parkerized or blued? Blued
6. is the striker parkerized or blued? Blued

The original s/n matching magazine is Parkerized as well
 
Skennerton does not give any numbers in The Lee Enfield book. He does comment that the 1950 CAL 6 groove are also RH twist due to them being produced on Bren gun barrel tooling.

That's correct, they are RH twist, just wanted to know how common they are.
