I don't think we know if it's 1000. I've not seen the number disclosed anywhere.

Fair enough, I thought they disclosed that but it has been a couple of months so I could be remembering wrong. If you look at the serial numbers for the T81s that have come in it appears fixed are 1-500 and folders are 1001-1500, so I'd say it's safe to assume there would be 501-1000 fixed and 1501-2000 awaiting in China.

I received my folder today and sadly it's bent at joint between the barrel and receiver, very noticible by the naked eyes.

I'm sending it back.

Agree with those who said it ain't worth sending it to China, they will scrape it here and savage it for parts.

Terrible.. I'm thinking there's a good chance they prob don't have enough rifles to do an immediate exchange for any that get returned for being bent... how long until we find out its a "Q1" wait for your return??

Curtton post a pic of it so we can see and have an idea on how bad yours is now

Well my rifle showed up today. Only problem... It's a fixed stock not a folder, lol.
I originally ordered one of the last fixed(my second order) and then emailed them asking if I could get one of the cancelled folders instead. TI emailed back "that's not a problem, we'll put you on the list". So I was expecting a folder. Guess it WAS a problem, lol.
Oh well, I'm not that disappointed as the folders seem to have more problems. Maybe I'll throw it on the EE as trade for a folder.
Oh and yes it's straight

My serial number is 24###....and it's a fixed stock.

Both folder and fixed I ordered April 2016 showed up today, checked over very carefully, was REME back in the day and do all my own smithing. Compares just as well as my fnc1 for fit and finish. Will take them both out the back forty for a good run through tomorrow. No bends or other problems. Thanks to TI for getting these in.

Canada Post just updated. Should have my folder in a day or two.
