I don't know. Apparently the German gov considers the grips gun parts, hence the End User cert. Gun Factory is a german company so I would imagine you would have jump through the same hoops.

Gunfactory.ch is a Swiss Company. .ch stands for Switzerland.
Last time I checked german law didn't apply to Swiss companies.

Swiss law may apply though.

Isn`t there a version that uses C7/M16 Nato mags?

Sig 556 (prohib in Canada) uses AR15 mags. The Sig 556 lower can be put on the SAN rifles (the upper has the serial number thus is the registered part) allowing it to use AR15 mags and stocks. There are very few of these lowers in Canada though.

Very nice! Where did you manage to get the Bipod? Do you need a different handguard to mount the bipod or was that bipod designed to work with the regular handguard.

Germany

Bi-pod was designed to work with the regular handguard. The bi-pod was the hardest part to find.

I understand that others have rebarrelled to a 1:7 twist barrel ... which is a replacement barrel ... my question is can I purchase a HEAVY barrel(exactly like the pic below) like on the sniper versions of these Swiss Arms and put on my bluestar rifle? If possible, who would be able to get said barrel?

Not sure where you can get the barrel but TSE can put it on for you.

Not made anymore.

Sniper is essentially unobtanium. There are ~11 in Canada and they are no longer in production. There is one on the EE right now for like $11k(ish).

JR told me he imported ten, so with Para's that makes 11, although technically his is not a Sniper.

Honestly it's obviously a very nice rifle but it's not that much better than the regular rifle. I do get slightly better groups but they're not eye-wateringly better. It also has a better trigger pull, but the tarted-up furniture doesn't add much to it imo.

The reason they stopped making it is that there is simply no demand for a 5.56mm semi-auto sniper rifle, 7.62 makes more sense generally speaking. When Swiss Arms took over, I get the impression they just used up the parts as there were no new Snipers after 2003 and they took over in 2000.

($11k? Must up my insurance. Don't think they're worth that much myself).
