I never get the concept of owning a full auto firearm?
First...you can't target shot with full auto...you wont hit ****.
Second...you will be broke from all the ammo cost.

There is no difference in bolt action and full auto?
Who's the moron ... lol

The full auto firearm would increase the injuries and fatalities.

So Andrew.... You believe full auto is useless because you cannot even hit a still target and then you go on to say that it is dangerous because it is more deadly and accurate than a semi-auto.

Which is it?

I was talking about people to start with, why are we talking about me now?
No I don't own guns..I just like posting on here................
Lol
If. I am crazy, then by would I care if other people get hurt or not?

If YOU are a gun owner, then that's what the anti's think about YOU! You're not getting it are you? The anti's aren't only thinking the other guy will do something bad, it's YOU too!

Get it?

BTW, I would like to thank the mad polster, Blaxsun, for bringing out all the closrt liberals. I hope CGNers are taking notes.

Funny to see people get named as liberals just because they do not agree with the majority of CGN'ners.

Go re re read my posts, maybe you will answer your own question.

I voted yes, but I disagree with some of the conditions. A training course, yes, a criminal background check, yes, other than that I think anyone with a PAL should have the option. Make sensible laws like no hunting and mandatory life in prison if used in commision of a crime, or something medieval so criminals are the only ones that get punished. I dont really see it as being any more dangerous than any other gun if its in the right hands and frankly, no worse than what the crimanls are doing already knowing full well the law treats them differently

Yes to FA. I would dip into ownership on a couple of choice items, MP5 for one. Love me some sub-guns. Not too interested in much else...well maybe a Sig556 or FA Tavor.

I probably couldn't afford to feed too many FA guns anyway.

i thought it takes like 20 grand or more to own a full auto in the usa. i wouldnt say their system works. but i guess its still better then ours. :)

Since 86, you can't import/make a machine gun, so whatever there is,demands a premium price. It works since no legal owned FA has been used in a shooting, the only incident that I know of is a LE officer who used a AK. It was a single occurrence.

May 1986....

Yes with no restrictions.

Up until the 1970's anyone could own one with no restrictions and there were no problems.

Canadians currently privately own full autos. They have 12.2 on their RPAL. Not a single one of them has shot anyone.

So if I had a full auto and offered to let you shoot you would decline?

I probably wouldn't bother buying a full auto rifle either, but I wouldn't turn down a free go with one.
Well... I might buy a full auto 10/22 as mentioned, that'd be fun and cheap.

EVERYBODY WHO VOTED YES GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS.

Sure I would love to own full auto but if you stopped for one second to think what it would be like you would realize it is not realistic. Can you imagine all the hill-billy fudds they already have at the ranges shooting like retards with their sks's? Now add full auto the mix and people will be getting killed very fast. Not to mention getting the CFO to certify a range for full auto use would be next to impossible.

Keep living in your fantasy world guys.

Well, eventually all these hillbillies would end up in jail for murder, so the problem will sort itself out. Between knives, cars, chemicals, alcohol, pointy objects, tall buildings, moving parts, farm machinery, firearms already out there, illegal firearms, fireworks, gunpowder, electricity, ect. ect. I think we have most of the dumb people already dead or in jail, so the couple who kill themselves or others at the range should be minimal.

It is funny the amount of mass murders and gun accidents in America didn't sky rocket after the invention of the bump fire stock. I mean, it may come as a shock to the nay sayers that one can buy an AK-47 with no license or registration and slap one of those on and basically have a full auto.

IMHO you have the same chance as a snowball in hell. We should instead try to repeal some of the stupid laws like mag limits and getting AR's unrestricted. Going full auto will probably make most of the antis get a coronary and the libtards will have their heads explode. Which may not be a bad thing! LOL

Hey, I voted "maybe"! Mainly because I think it requires a degree of qualification or certification beyond the current firearms safety course. Does that make me red?

Full auto would require a greater degree of training to operate? In what way?

You know where your suggestion leads to, right? And why it's a horrible idea?

What you're talking about is a "graduated" firearms licensing program, of course run by the government, to the detriment of all gun owners.

Oh sure, you can get your FA PAL, but first you have to complete a 20 hour government sponsored training program, designed by bureaucrats. But wait! You don't have your semi-auto PAL license yet? Oh, sorry, now you have to take a 20 hour training program and get that license first because it's a prerequisite to the FA course. Handguns can be another 20 hours, bolts can be another 20, and so on, and so on.....

Frankly, I wouldn't want a FA gun, nor should ANY Canadian gun owner want a FA gun if all it leads to is more red-tape and more layers of bureaucracy. Once the government gets involved, it is near impossible to get them back out after you figured out you've made a mistake and asked for the wrong thing in the wrong way.

I'd like to send a big ******** ! out to everyone who voted no. You are no better than the anti's. The pathetic mewling about how YOU don't see any reason to own full auto's therefore YOU don't think anyone else should be able to own one makes me want to hit you with something heavy.

Our society is not based on what YOU think other people should do with their money. Would like it for me to come into your home and decide what YOU should or should not have? Probably not, so why not pull your head out of your ass and give the rest of us the benefit of the doubt?

****, I was having a good day till I read this BS ...... :(

Amen.
