Does AK furniture fit the Type 81?

Anyway back to the thread topic....
Say I picked up a used folder. But I wanted to swap my folding stock for a fixed T81 stock; are the receivers on either type the same? Ie can I just take the folder off and slap on a fixed assuming I had one and the hardware?
And 2. Has anyone modded a much more readily available ak stock to fit a T81 yet?

The folder is revited into the receiver it would require a #### load of modifying and you may not be able to swap it back in that case your better off buying a new fixed stock

Well we should still be able to keep within our projected time frame and hopefully get the prototypes ready for around February, and then our first run shortly after. We will keep you updated with progress, and probably start a new thread devoted to this topic in the new year. Don't worry you'll be one of the first to know of any developments.



We are basing our design off of a proven Russian design, and we will only sell the dust cover if it does reliably hold zero. If it doesn't we will simply work to find another solution.

Yup, supposedly it was a bit more to undertake then what was originally planned it seems

Ak furniture was the first thing I googled asoon as I heard about t81 coming to Canada.

Actually we are working on a modernization kit for the Type 81. We are still in the development process but I can show you guys our initial 3d rendering of the parts.
