Does anyone even shoot 6.8 SPC

I have one in XCR, hoping to use it for deer hunting, but I plan on reloading for it. I was able to find ammo locally in saskatoon here which is rather impressive.

I shoot 6.8 out of my Noveske upper and rem700 LTR. i love the caliber. That 140gr LR round is really going to improve performances. It requires new mags but its worth it.

I've been trying to offload some 6.8 SPC ammo in the EE. Seems to be zero interest. The number and nature of replies to this thread would appear to explain why. Very few shooting it.

I'd say it has a lot to do with cost of your ammo I saw your ad but due to I reload top 95gr TTSX at a fraction of what you want for your factory ammo = I passed on it...

If you want to drop your price I maybe interested.

I'm not sure if it does need new mags sounds like they are loading them to standard length 2.29" which should fit any mag available for the 6.8spc.

I load the 95gr TTSX makes me good to 450 yards on coyotes so see no reason why I would spend any time loading the 140's I was just using that bullet as an example of high BC bullets available for the 6.8spc.

I mounted a Leupold VX111 4.5-14X40mm LR Varmint reticle scope on my 6.8spc XCR-L.

With my 95gr TTSX loads @ 2825fps I have the main reticle line zeroed 1" high at 100 yards the first reticle line down gives me 1" high at 200 yards and the second line down gives me dead on @ 300 yards.

It has been about a year since I shot 400 + yards =I do not remember the hold right now.
