groups
If you are shooting those kind of groups at 50 and 100 all day with a marlin 60, let's see 'em I want proof. High end rimfires have trouble shooting consistent small groups at 100 and Home3"s Marlin will do it at 100 m all day. I call BS.
The OP wanted to know if anyone has a 10/22 that shoots this well. The answer is yes, but be prepared to spend extra $. It's about creating a personalized rifle that no one else can just buy. I have several that have only a few Ruger parts in them, the bolt and some parts in the trigger group. Shoot very well, capable of sub 1/2" groups if the trigger man does his job. Why should Ruger try to make them better, when the average buyer buys with the intent of modifying anyway? There's no incentive to make them better. With a better trigger, chamber, and crown, they will shoot those tiny groups, I know, I did it. Lawyers have a lot to do with it.
