OP,
as a responsible employee, you should know the rules imposed by our government and those imposed by company policy. You should also question company policy that exceeds the law and try to change it using your knowledge of facts and truth to teach others,
What you are suggesting is that those who work at the gun counter should have a law degree with a specialty in firearms law (when even LEO's, judges, lawyers, and those who write the laws don't know anything about the law) . What do you think that would do to prices?
This guy didn't BS the customer, he didn't know, took the high road and looked to find the answer, and will now know.
Your asking to much of a person who works in retail.
Wow.
Reliable, Italian and Budget are where I buy my stuff and have never been asked for a PAL.
Maybe because I'm a 60 year old Fudd.![]()

All WSS I have been to as well as Phoenix Indoor range in Edmonton record your info for powder purchases.
I've bought powder from them once also and had to show or sign nothing, but that was two years ago.Dantesports.
WSS seems hit or miss. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. There's no record kept.
WSS on the north side of Edmonton DOES have a powder log that they sometimes fill out. It depends on if they can find it or not. Anytime they've asked me, they always pass the book to me to fill in. Eddie VanHalen, Kim Mitchell, Wendy Cukier, Allan Rock, and "The Liberal Party of Canada" have all bought powder there.![]()
