Does firing a few non corrosive rounds after a bunch of corrosive "clean" your gun?

So what is the best way? Pour boiling water down the barrel and wash moving parts in hot water then what? I dry the parts thoroughly and then clean them with wipe out gun cleaner then lightly oil moving parts. What do you guys use?

Yea this makes sense. Sometimes they say some pretty weird shi t but there alright. I think I'm going to use non-corrosive in my CZ858, and corrosive surplus in my SKS. Thanks Canmic.

I use Windex with Ammonia. I will then rinse the components with very hot water that came in contact with ammonia. I wipe with dry cloth let air dry but a hair dryer sounds like a good idea too, then I lube all parts with oil.

Rinse with water - preferably hot water as it dries almost instantly - and then clean as usual. Not rocket science. Windex not needed. All a person needs to do is wash the corrosive salts away and they are water soluable, so magic potion is not necessary.

You got it...

As others state, the windex only works because it's mostly water... The ammonia does nothing special to the corrosive salt residue
