Does anybody out there believe that there are forces at work that can affect the events that happen in and around our lives...?
I think that there are such possibilities, and that it was for you to find that buck and bring an end to his trail of suffering. Whoever wounded him in the first place may not have been able to find him... Deer can be extemely determined to get away from danger.
I'd mount him and keep the memory alive of a great deer that was someones else's loss and your gain.
