Too slow a powder. IMR 4831 more for 6.5x55 like cartridges.
110.0 means 110% capacity of case at 16.0 gram charge. = compressed charge. You want to go there?
Bullseye at 4.8gr with 158gr bullet.
I can get those powders locally. Which would be the best choice for light loads .357?

this? Alliant Powder Bullseye
Thanks! The H110 and 4227 load data runs near 30000 PSI though ... this doesnt look like a light and quiet load ... I think I will give the bullseye a try!
Yes, Bullseye is like a dirty Titegroup.
Don't have to load them at max.

turns out another LGS has this:
Hodgdon Powder Co. Titegroup
cant find load data and pressure though
Post 58 & 59, green text.
yes but I dont know how far to safely reduce pistol rounds ...
Load data has a minimum and maximum charge weight. Being as green as you are, don't reduce anything yourself and stick to published data only. Sounds like the first component you need is a manual and then you should read it.
I can most easily get powders at Reliable.... None of the powders in stock there is listed on IMRs website for .357 but on the interwebz you can find load data... its quiet weird....
I am looking for a powder for low recoil and low noise for .357. I would assume that noise comes mostly with chamber pressure so probably should look for a load with low chamber pressures.
Do you have any powder recommendation? (its for .357 rifle)
