Actually no. That IS how you post pictures but it doesn't work if the square brackets has been clicked accidentally. Look at how my picture icon (and bold italics etc) is dark in this screenshot:

If they are dark like that you can't click the buttons. Clicking the square bracket button turns the rest of the buttons on/off.

My iPhone is also pretty old, we donā€™t have a land line anymore, we donā€™t even have wifi anymore, the plan we have with our phone is plenty of data to use it as a hotspot for the other devices in the house. Anyway I do use my phone quite a bit because at some point it was the only thing I had, no laptop, not tablet, no desktop. So I get use to do everything on the phone. Itā€™s a great tool on the job site or in the shop too but it is also a bad thing cause it is easy to get distracted for me anyway.

Yes, obviously if you turn it off, you have to turn it back on again, but the image icon is how images are uploaded.

But it's not obvious, especially if you don't even realize that button exists or what it does.

As evidenced by the fact that multiple people on this thread alone didn't know. It's not the picture button that is the issue for most people who can't figure out how to post direct to CGN, it's the button that toggles whether the picture button works that causes people problems.
