Are you talking from experience with the gun?Wow, sensitive. I called it how I see it. Ymmv.![]()

I have been a deer hunter for 25 years and the rfb is a great bush gun and accurate enough to drop everything that I have pointed it at out to 200 yards.

That is an understatement if I've ever heard one.
2 moa you say? With what and how far? Three rounds at 100yards? Have you shot it further than that, say 300m or more?
...and other stuff...like poor reliability and constant ftf and fte (although some of this could be attributed to mags, but I doubt all 12 in the case I witnessed).
I have shot one, and was not impressed. Once you get beyond the size (the only admirable thing it has going for it, aside from taking FN mags) you realize it is: (@ +$2500) considerably more money, less accurate and less reliable than a box-stock $400 Norinco M305.
I'm all for cool new guns, and whatever floats your boat, etc. but the RFB is a doggy. Buyer beware IMHO.
An older gent at Silverdale had one out and shooting last few times i was there....Easy 1MOA at 100 yards with off the shelf ammo. Gun felt very sturdy.....i liked it, but i'm a lefty so Bullpups kinda suck for me and i'm a cheap bastard....lol.
Of all the Keltec stuff thats probably the only firearm i'd actually want to own...maybe the SU-16 right after that.
I call BS on this statement as well . I own one and love it. Not one single issue with several thousand rounds through it. Very accurate out to 300 yards and beyond.
My RFB is the last gun I would ever consider selling.

A $2500 rifle that is only capable of 2 MOA. What's not to like about that.
I'm loving the guys defending the RFB as being accurate cause they shot it out to 200 yds. That may impress you but it doesn't cut it for me. My box stock $500 Savage prints consistent 5/8" five shot groups and i had it smacking grapefruit sized rocks at 700 yds. THAT is what I call performance for money.
I really wanted to like the RFB. I think it is a cool looking rifle and a neat concept but it don't work and that is all that matters. That it is ludicrously expensive on top of crap performance is the final nail in the coffin for me.

I think most people are catching on that they are crap....
I am not so much defending it, (As I tend not to care for such internet argument) as pointing out that you are comparing apples to oranges.
You are comparing a high quality budget bolt action (with what I assume to be a telescopic sight and either quality ammo or reloads taylored to the gun for your claimed 5/8 MOA) to a short bulpup semi .308 that is using an Eotech as the optic. (In my case using cheap PMC .308, not exactly lapua quality ammo here)
You can trash or defend the gun all you want, but honestly, compare it to a similar platform. If you are comparing accuracy, I am sure you can get hundreds or more accurate .308 rifles, however the rifle was not built for it, and did not advertise as such. It is a short firearm that packs a serious punch that is designed for close range shootin
The price is also substantially higher in Canada due to import fees and such, so compare it how you want, but compare it to a similar class of firearm at the very least.
Just my .02.
I would not spit on Keltec products, cheap on the outside but pretty reliable, my S-2000 9mm is a keeper... JP.
