Does owning an SKS make your IQ lower?

i have an itch to buy a missing piece to my collection. see tons of really nice russian SKS's. thought i'd go to the EE and grab a used one. i see them from 200-250$ used, low rounds, hardly fired. lots of firm 250$.

what makes these guns so special. i see them all over from dealers, in stock 169-200$ will i become retarded if i buy one, or do they actually go up in value the more people that own them?

i hab to PM one guy that was firm on $250, he explained to me they are sold out everywhere and you can only get shtbeat guns now.
No thats just the ee here buddy, some guy was selling an 858 for 3000 a few weeks back...

Those are the guys with the low IQ's, and I'm sure that once in a while they find someone with an even lower one to buy it.

nah. Your I.Q. is high if you can recognize the value. It starts to drop off when you start adding a 'tactical' aftermarket stocks with a huge banana magazine, flashlight... etc.

It's funny when I see how much some guys ask for their SKS..... I have 5 of them and I paid between 180$ and 230$ Including tax ans shipping. A fair price for a used sks is around 175-200$ shipped.

Sure, owning an SKS means you have a low IQ. OTOH, a wannabe-SKS-owner whining about EE pricing must obviously be a super-high IQ kind of guy. LOL, maybe it's not the SKS making people stupid after all. :)

BUT, if the OP sees prices are high on the EE, then why doesn't he just buy one from a regular retailer?! It seems quite simple, especially for people with such a high IQ. Haha. ;)

It's that supply and demand thing too. Sometimes the regular retailers run out and people still want those guns and can't wait so they end up paying a bit more for the same thing they would get if they just waited. Site sponsors here are guilty of marking up as well.

exactly how i feel. your IQ only drops when you hang a bunch of cheap crap from it.

Don't be so judgmental! It's whatever makes you happy! We are all big boys here and the only difference between the big boys and little boys( by the way, I'm referring to the age only here) is the toys they are playing with....
So.... If it makes you happy to modify a 60 year old gun - go for it!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It gives you only positive emotions. And those things make your life happier.

Exactly... I like them both ways... I kept one original because it was in such good shape, they I bought one with a black bayo and Tapcoed it... They both are very different but sweet... I might put a red dot on the tapco now too. I still have a few brain cells left so I might get another...

Oh and other than a .22 what gun can you shoot for .15 cents a round? Cheap gun, cheap ammo, great gun
