thanksSR 22 is 33" with stock collapsed. So if you put a regular 10/22 carbine into a Nordic chassis with Ruger 6 pos stock, you' d be around 35.5" OAL.
You *can* get down to a 26" long SR with short bbl / fixed stock combinations as still keep it non-restricted.
If you want to customize it with your own HG, stock, bbl, anyways, it can be a little cheaper going with a 10/22 + Nordic chassis.
where does one buy one of these? I'm interested in the MSR RX 22 G Black Hawk.
If you read the description, it's a GSG made, same chassis as the ISSC.22, with (they are saying) an Annie barrel.
My understanding is that the ISSC .22 reviews have been....mixed.
For an SR, try P&D in Edmonton.
Cheers

If I were you I'd go the Troy T-22 route. Seems like a better overall chassis than the SR-22. Apparently lighter than the sr-22 when its all put together as well.
I have one of these ordered as well, do you use a scope on yours? I'm wondering if this is the case, will I have a POI problem with a scope mountedI've got a Troy t-22 as well and I built it just how I want it . It is a great chassis but it does have one draw back that bugs me . The front and back halves are held together with two pinch bolts , no matter how tight these bolts are ( locktite or not ) They don't come come loose but they don't hold either and every shot you take causes separation between the front and back halves , so after 75-100 rounds or so the front quad rail will fall off ( unless you loosen the pinch bolts move it back and re-tighten ) . Nutnfancy did a review on this chassis and it happens to him , he blames his son I think for not lock tighting the pinch bolts , but I believe this is a weakness in the chassis system , if somebody has a fix for this id love to hear it . All in all I love the t-22 and won't ever sell it but I would like to remedy this problem
Thats gonna bother the b-jesus out of me if that happens, I would be resetting it 5 times in one outing in the gopher patch. Hopefully mine is a little better, otherwise I'll have to get creativeI do have a scope mounted and the poi does start to climb , that's what usually tips me off to loosen / tighten the pinch bolts . It's really not a huge deal but it does bug me . The end of the rail were the end of your scope would be is held into the lower part with a key way ( hope this makes sense ) and it takes a lot of rounds 4 banana mags and the stock 10 rounder to even notice the shift , but if you wait to long it will separate , it doesn't damage anything and just before it separates I will give it to a friend to shoot and when it happens I say " holy #### you broke it ! " lol ! Always good for a laugh
ISSC 22 reviews have been mixed, but this is not an issc 22 we are talking about, so why base your reviews on a different gun that is similar? Its like saying a rem sps got mixed reviews so all remingtons must not be that good. If its got an Annie name it deserves its own review
this happens with the archangel kit as well as the tapco, seems nordic systems chasis set up works best thats why ruger uses it in their sr22 system with the ruger name on it.I've got a Troy t-22 as well and I built it just how I want it .
