Dominion Arms AR15 after 15 000 rounds

Nice!

I have a couple Norcs as well but shoot the 1911 much more than the AR.

I always tell people looking for their first AR that it's a great way to get started if you're on a budget, but leave it as it, don't try and upgrade parts cause that's when you can sometimes run into problems with parts fitting.

Here's the setup from today- Leupold 6-20 scope with high rings.

It was a bit breezey today but we got a few groups shot. Ammo selection was PMC, Wartak, Federal, Tula and MFS

Tula didn't do so well. I haven't used this in a long time, but I recall it being more accurate than this 13000 rounds ago.

Federal did pretty good, and MFS didn't suck

The Wartak benefited from the better scope setup

PMC was about the same but I sorta expected better. Of course it could have been operator error :)

That's it for now! This rifle will be at least up to 20K by the end of the summer. Assuming it doesn't fall to pieces. :)

All I wish is that I had done an accuracy test when it was new, to get a baseline for how the round count effected it. Didn't even think of it as this rifle has always been a range blaster

You'd probably get better results of the scope was actually attached to the rifle itself and not halfway onto the hand guard. You're setup is terrible and severely lacks rigidity.

It's actually all the way onto one end of the handguard. :)

Good enough for what I wanted to do. I pulled the scope off another rifle, that's where the rings were, and I wasn't going to change them for the sake of a quick and dirty test that was really just for fun more than anything else.

Yeah, jeez Clark, what were you thinking? :p
