Dominion Arms Grizzly 870 clone?

Has anyone had any experience with the Dominion Arms Grizzly (870 clone) shotguns? The 12.5 inch or 9 inch barrel models? They seem to be hard to find. How is the quality on them?
 
QC can be spotty. Some run like a champ, some barely run. Most issues can be fixed with a damn good de-burring. QC on newer ones seems to be better.
 
Had mine since they showed up in 2008.


Short summary, 65k+ rounds fired and only firing pin broke last year.

My most trusted gun I own.
 
Like a lot of Chinese made guns there can be some rough machining, once you de burr or polish areas they are smooth as any well used Rem 870. The tube fed are solid, the mag fed has a warm link and that’s the mags. Once you tweak the mags and polish the feed ramp they work great, my mag fed is slick as snot and is reliable now that I’ve polished and tuned it up. I wouldn’t think twice about owning another one.

These have reputation of not being pretty, but working reliably and built like tanks. The ones I’ve tried worked great, but were heavy.
 
Love mine, been a few years now, runs great, I actually sold my Remington and kept this shorty as my bush gun.

Don't like the heft, but it has been dropped so many times now just keeps ticking.

Love the ghost rings, added a metal forearm and Hogue stock, and front angled grip. Sometimes slide on a LED light as well.

New ones are Turkish and not 870 clones. The D.A. 870 clone models were called Grizzly ... not sure what the new D.A. shotguns are called, but are not 870 clones.
 
I love mine, I lucked out and got a 12 1/2 inch, ghost ring sighted, tube magged, choke threaded one. Replaced the slide with a Remington one, fitted an Ergo railed grip, a Vang Comp safety and a Magpul stock. Very solid, works perfectly. Nowhere near my Wingmasters for finish quality, smoothness, or class, but every bit as reliable.

Nice, a threaded for chokes barrel really is what they all should have come with from the factory. It really makes the short barrel shine. I just had a 12.5” barrel threaded for chokes, it’s a whole new beast now.
 
They gotta have sold quite a few of the 8.5” models right? You really don’t see em much even on EE their usually the 12.5 sometimes but mainly you see the 14”+ for sale now adays.
 
No? I assumed it was. So the 14” is an 870 clone, but not the 9”? Also, does anybody have them other than Canada Ammo? Only place I’ve ever seen with them.
