Nice pictures Dosing!
It is important that people realize that Norinco's are generally rough around the edges and some home tuning is part of the fun....

Covey,
Buddy give it a rest allready....you've all ready got several other threads to campaign on!

Make me feel like a troll

Ok here's a pic of my gun. There I have one.

And yes I voted that I am not thrilled with it. It is not what I hoped for. Sure it has short barrels but does it need to be such a big gun.

The foregrip is huge. The stock is long and the hammers are pretty small to be easily manipulated with gloves.

I bought a short barrel gun to have a barely legal handy shotgun. This gun has short barrels and big everything else. Its overall length is no shorter than my other single.

and it has an 18 inch barrel.

It's great to hear from both sides. Thanks.

I am sorry that you feel like a troll. That was not the intention of having voters post their photos.

Once again thanks for your feedback!

That's why I ordered the backpacker.....it's hard to put two 12gauge barrels side by side and still have a narrow gun eh!
My backpacker is about 28 inches with it's 13 " barrel.....What's the length of your single shot... must be close to 33"?
Hard to believe it's the same length or shorter then your outlaw!

You must have short little arms like me :D
A couple other folks shouldered mine and found it ok, but that buttstock seemed way long to me. I would also point out to folks looking to replace the pad, to consider the width of the stock. On measuring mine it is so wide that I needed a plate 2 sizes larger that normal to get the width required. I am assuming they made so wide to spread out recoil, but it will affect a purchased pads size.

I see some of our resident trolls have surfaced in this thread!..........i think we all know who they are.Thank god for the ignore button.

If they're on your ignore list, how are you seeing them in this thread? :)

By the time the "dozens" of buyers post here, dozen will be voting a big fat NO. That's way too many for any gun. You do realize it's a gun we're talikng about right? Not peaches, that when one doesn't taste right it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. A gun blows in your face, it leaves leaves holes in your head.

You still see the user name in the posting...just not the stuff they have to say.

I've had mine apart for general cleaning, a bit of deburring on the internals, and fixed where the left hammer was rubbing on the stock. Will hopefully have her out this Monday and will then vote in the poll.
My initial thinking pre-firing is that the LOP will have to be adjusted a bit. Final decision will be made later.

(E)

Just a friendly reminder to voting owners to please try to post a home photo of your Outlaw as proof of ownership. Thanks.

Please try to do this guys/gals as I will tally the thread after the imput dies off and will only count those with home photos. I know that it is a PITA and I apologize but I have been accused of starting this "unscientific pole (sic)" and I want to make sure that the numbers are as valid as possible.

Thanks gunnutz.

28.57% of those who wanted this product do not like it does not sound like a good thing.

First you accuse me of starting an "unscientific pole (sic)" that is only good enough to be "pissed on" and now you're quoting it's preliminary statistics?

Does this mean that you now accept the validity of the poll and withdraw your previous derisive statements?

Or does it mean that you are willing to knowingly quote statistics that you feel are invalid simply to try to advance your opinion on a product which you have no actual experience using?

I accidentally voted yes, but meant to vote no

My Outlaw still won't close fully, it gets hung up, and has to be forced shut

And the 5th or so round of buckshot I fired through it; I went to open the action, and the f**king thing was locked shut. Wouldn't open until I actually turned it upside down and hammered it onto the sandbag to break open the hinge and eject the spent shell

All-in-all, buy one because it's so cheap, but don't expect it to function perfect

I recommend the backpacker way over the Outlaw personally.

First of all thanks Dosing for the great pics.

Secondly heres my Outlaw along with it's stable mates

I am very happy with this gun, mine seems to be well put together and tight. It could use a couple of inches off her backend and that comes next.
I put about seven rounds through her on the weekend just to make sure she didn't have the inadvertent forend issues. I did not pattern her however as I didn't have a suitable target.
I will post my results of patterning when I get a chance to do so, some of the results posted have been somewhat disturbing as to barrel regulation.

Just quoting your results and by your results there are a very high number that are not satisfied. They are your poll results? You tell me? I think that even with a stacked deck, you can not deal CanAm's outlaw a winning hand.:D
