I had my very first fail to fire round today. I've shot almost 4000 rounds of 7.62x39 non-corrosive Dominion Arms (Ukrainian) ammo from my Russian SKS, my Chinese SKS and my CSA VZ58. I was shooting the VZ today and I pull the trigger around 100 rounds in, and "click"... nothing. I dropped the mag, cleared the round and reinserted it into the magazine. Racked the bolt and pulled the trigger...click. Again dropped the mag and cleared the round from the chamber. I saw a very nice strike on the primer area.
The round looked ok, but I disgarded the round and continued. No more problems. I must say, this stuff is good! No immediate cleaning required. Very consistant. I was just surprised today when it failed to go boom. I would recommend this ammo. And...you can even get it with a hollow point.
Edit: Yes, I did count to 60 before I dropped the mag and cleared the chamber each time.
