Dragunov stocks for the SVT40

One of the sponsors here has SVT 40 tactical folding stock coming in 2-6 months. I saw the video looks extra cool, I would tell more but had to give my word that I will keep the details to myself for now

If its a stock replacement that would make it look like a SVD that would be sooo cool.

Turns out I have a friend that has an SVT 40 and is willing to let me use it to make patterns. Im going to pick it up this weekend and I'll post my progress as I go.

Figure this one out and you could make some serious coin! ...and a lot of people very happy:)

Thanks to all, nice to see a lot of interest in this! I'm pretty stoked that someone is working on this shortly after I put the idea out there. I'm sure I'm not the first guy to think about making SVT-SVD conversion stocks. But I call dibs on the first wooden "SVD-40" stock available for sale!

Just bought another SVT-40 today. Nice looking stock on it, but it'll be put away for safe keeping and I'll add a Dragunov-inspired stock to my to-do list. My to-do list is pretty long so this will take a while. :)

I would certainly be interested in this idea.
I wonder what sort of accuracy you could get out of an SVT-40 if you free-floated the barrel...

This you would not want. Actually with the whip you will notice better groupings with the whole piston system locked right down. As there are to many parts to get repeatable performance from this rifle system if there is not restraints put on it when discharging rounds.
