That's what appeared to be a mix and match from a fellow gunnut. It was pretty sloppy gun when I received it. But it bought it, to play with it, just for fun.
I tightened the slide, did a trigger job, and installed an ed brown barrel and bushing. The one who came with the pistol could rattle the bucks in, in my neighborhood. Machined finger relief and logo. I removed tooling and grinding marks, and broke all corners. Bead blasted, sanded and polished the slab. The internal parts are all original.
That's the beauty about a norinco, cheap to buy, and not too many f####d up corners like on so many production guns who cost 3 times as much. And in the end you end up with a very good shooter for not much cash, except the labour.

If I could post pictures, I could show one of mine, hi polish on the slide match barrel, bushing, link, and Just put a vortex red dot with rear sight mount on it and a comp, just because I had one, had it out once with the sight, but forgot the adj tool to get it zeroed and weather was not good. And the slide was tighted up, but that was before I got it

What's the logo on the back of the slide?

Nice work. With some elbow grease my NP29 is one of the pistols of mine I would never sell. People don’t know the steel on norcs is fantastic. Much heavier and stronger than your typical 1911s.

Damn! That's a nice job you did there. The dust cover on the right side looks like it could use a little profiling to stop rubbing on the slide. Did you blue it yourself?

Yes I did everything except the bluing.
I had the gun tank blued.
The logo is half Canadian maple leaf and half Swiss cross on shield.

Nice work. Is yours rattly? My older generation NP29 is a bit rattly but shoots well and feeds everything including JHPs.

I have done nothing to mine except change the grips and shoot it.

Nice to see...as I just bought one from a fellow nutter....where did you get the blueing done? Have very similar plans...
