can anybody tell me a place where I can send my M6 scout to get done profetionally and what a ball park value might be to have it done? the gun is a parkarized gun right now but it probally wouldn't be a bad gun to do.

I just love how your gun turned out. good job

it is the gun in the bottom of the pic

there was someone who posted in this thread that said they do duracoating.

and duracoat explicitly says that the paint bonds extremely well to parkerized surfaces.

Try Valley Gunsmithing in Petawawa. I seem to recall they had that service on their website a while back, although I just had a quick look and didn't see it.

Here are a few more pictures I took today of the rifle with the scope attached.

Rather than paint the scope I will be working out a way to wrap it with these scrap strips of cadpat I have from Dropzone.

That way I don't have to make the scope permanent to the rifle as I do wish to get a new scope in the future.

I will either use two sided tape and wrap it or just tie it in knots around the tube. Either way I think it will match pretty good.

Here is just an idea of what the match. I just threw the pieces on there, so it won't look that shoddy:

Ok last pics. Wrapping the material didn't end up looking very good so I just tied it on.

Did some shooting yesterday including a few long shots over a river valley.
