just change your barrel on your upper, a noveske spr 18 inches, is actually 18.5 inches, then get it verified and never change that upper from that lower

just like the acr really

and this isnt about black semis, this is about the AR15, which is a black semi, but not the only black semi, tons of other black semis are NR by having a barrel more than 18.5 inches.

quick question, why was this limited to the lawful gun owners of canada
i sent this to a few guys to sign, but refused as they are not part of that group... yet

It is not just for lawful gun owners, it is not about owning AR15's, it is about the RIGHT to own one. Ultimately it is up to the individual to make the decision not someone else.
 
The type 81 purchase thread has 18000 views in only a couple weeks and this has about as many signatures in a couple months?

Unfortunately we have witnessed on this board there are many that have that FU attitude towards AR owners. This has been confirmed by posting many negative comments.

The petition is signed "we the lawful gun owners" or something to that effect
My buddy (waiting on pal) was going to sign but is not a lawful gun owner yet and refused

Maybe that wording is partially responsible for many more not signing this? A person shouldn't need a RPAL to sign this petition. If you would like to see the AR15 de-restricted then sign it. If the wording "we lawful gun owners" is discouraging to some without a RPAL or ever PAL, consider this;

My little cousin has a bb gun. He locks it up when not in use. No joke. And of course, he's not shooting his eye out or misusing it. He uses it for target and plinking. In other words he uses his BB gun lawfully. I would consider him to technically be a lawful gun owner.

Also, my grandpa still has an antique from his collection and he has not renewed his license since they were still called FAC's. So with him not having a RPAL/PAL/FAC and being the owner of a pre 1898 .41 Colt SAA, is he a lawful gun owner? Yes he is.

Tell your friend to sign the petition.
 
If you sort petitions by # of signatures, this is #1 ! More signatures than Elizabeth May's cannabis petition
