This!To be fair, Canada post won’t pay out on insurance over $500 for a gun in my experience, so insurance is not necessarily worth paying for.

Apparently Canada Post insurance on firearms is a waste of time, they will fight you tool & nail not to pay you a dime. I will never buy CP insurance ever again. It's always about pricing.
I sold two Rem. 700 in the last month within a couple of days of posting.
Better than anything currently listed and $50 cheaper.
The 700's listed then are still listed.
People are incredibly cheap and walk over a few dollars.
Both guns were approx $1500 and neither buyer even bothered withvthe extra $20 or $25 for insurance.
That's being cheap and not smart.
That's why I do my selling there, I get an average of $100 more there then hereYou should check Gun-post out. Not sure what they are thinking when they price stuff but it sure is amusing. On my way to the EE. Please don’t lowball he may get insulted. Should I ?

Some of the CP workers have a very poor attitude now that they are back to work. I had one female CP worker that was very rude and unprofessional when she asked if I was shipping a firearm, I had made my own label at home and was not shipping a firearm. She was an absolute b!tch.......I am contemplating filing a complaint, although I do feel their pain in dealing with a corrupt Corporation like CP and it's slimy Liberal Government.
It's my opinion that CP firearms insurance is a waste of effort and money, but everyone has to make their own decision........![]()

I was at a gun show back in the 90's where a guy had a 50 cal single shot with 10k for a price tag.
He had guys talking about it and the orice.
He never sold it because he liked talking about it to much.
How do I know this, well because for the next two gun shows he had it on the table and finally when the Chilliwack show became the one to go to he was there with that very same gun...
Anyways, atnoaction will always be a thing.
Rob
It was not him, just and old fart who liked to brag....Telescope with tripod.Astrophotography can get hella expensive.
1990's... single shot 50 bmg... 10k price tag...
You might as well just call Rick from ATRS out by name.
Anyone who knows him and reads this will laugh, and agree.
Every time I see someone #####ing about low ballers. How many posts on here (CGN as a whole) do you see about sellers complaining that no-one is buying their over-inflated items?
That’s what I thought. None to rare..
It's you!The latest wacko posting. $12K for a basic M1 Garand ex-grenade launching rifle that’s been sanded and the grenade sight mount holes doweled over by bubba.
Is it me, or does the EE get more absurd with each passing day?
I go with the classic - "machine parts" - never had a problem.I always say they're ornate curtain rods
"No dangerous goods, legally mailable matter"I go with the classic - "machine parts" - never had a problem.
The chick that asked me if it was a firearm wanted an extra $3.00 for a signature requirement, which I gladly would have paid but she stated I would have to go back home, redo my shipping label and try to get a refund for the $80.00 I had already paid."No dangerous goods, legally mailable matter"
They ask so they can make a determination if it contains dangerous goods.
They phrase the question wrong.
Haha, there’s an sks listed for $3500.The latest wacko posting. $12K for a basic M1 Garand ex-grenade launching rifle that’s been sanded and the grenade sight mount holes doweled over by bubba.

Biggest difference being one is a asking price, the other is the sale price. Crazy what some people are willing to pay, but all the power to them. You think the EE prices are bad, you been on Switzers lately? I've witnessed a ton of head scratching prices on things.
Why do you care???? The owner can ask $120,000 if he/she likes. As the owner that is their prerogative. If it is more that you think is worth, just move on.The latest wacko posting. $12K for a basic M1 Garand ex-grenade launching rifle that’s been sanded and the grenade sight mount holes doweled over by bubba.
