EESA Movember Charity Match

I'll be there tomorrow bright and early.

Should be able to stick around for a bit afterwards too if you need help running the side match or with anything else.

There seems to have been an inordinate number of cancelations for the Sunday slots...

If anyone wants to "walk on" please come out and we will make a slot for you to shoot for this great cause.

As it is a charity match, I would guess there are no refunds but you will issue the tax receipt and thank them for there donation ?? I would expect to less.

If I had set this up as a PREPAY match...........I would do just that.

However...........due to my crazy schedule of late I neglected to do this and took the competitors at their word that they would all show.

Once again we went from a SOLD OUT match.........to plenty of room

Needless to say I will not be making the same mistake on future Level II or III matches at EESA. In particular Chairty Events.

That said it was great to see the wonderful support we had from the Competitors, EESA IPSC Crew and EESA members who came out to help.

Carm, Yuri and Peter we are thankful to be able to shoot match in EESA.
One great match and despite long drive, 3hrs for me one way it was worth it.

Peter

Another great match at East Elgin!! Great stages and a good round count. East Elgin never fails to put on a great match. This club must be commended for the excellent work they are doing in promoting the shooting sports especially for young people.
Here is a club that is continually improving and upgrading their facilities to accommodate all types of shooting disciplines including air guns and archery.
I have recently joined East Elgin so maybe I am a little biased, but I sincerely feel this is one of Ontario's most progressive gun clubs.

Thanks to all who worked on putting this match together. It was definitely worth the drive from Mississauga. The stages were challenging, well thought out and flowed nicely. The food was great as well. I even did the outdoor portion in the rain with my trusty 870 tactical express, what a hoot!!!

Thanks to all that attended....
Storm has the final #'s, but I think we are able to donate a few thousand dollars for prostate cancer reseach.

The EESA crew needs to be commended for putting it all together, and also Pam and Peter for giving up their weekend to help and RO.

Looks like a grand total of $2160 donated to Prostate Cancer Canada!!

Thanks again to the EESA crew and in particular 7.62 for putting this match together.

We had a TON of help running this match from ROs to patchers!

7.62 also put some cash towards the new EESA Club house!! Going out even in the pouring range to RO some stalwart folks!

results were sent out to IPSC about 2 hours ago..........so they should be posted soon.

I have just been informed by Eux
(thanks Eux) Instead of the BOD, that this is now considered to only be a L1 match instead of an L2 match.

It seems that with my mother DYING and being in hospital for the past month that I neglected to OBEY their rules an have my stages monitored as per their policy. At least that is my guess. I am guessing because I have not been informed by anyone other than Eux.

Meanwhile thanks to all who commented on the quality of the stages.........it really meant quite a bit to me considering the stress I was under when I put them together.

I appologize to the ROs who only get one point instead of two as a result of my oversight. Have no fear however as you ALL will get points at my next level 1 match.

And every level 1 match I run in the future as that is all I will be running for the forseeable future as Match Director.

I look on the bright side...............With everyones approval I will now dedicate the $3 per shooter match fee to the EESA new buidling project.

Just wait till I run my next larger match.

Level 1.

9 to 12 stage and 150 top 200 rounds.
