Not sure what, if anything can be done to encourage squaddy's to help reset and patch.
People are either oblivious to the need or willfully acting to avoid resetting/patching.
I always say... " the only people exempt from helping patch are the on deck shooter and the person who just shot."
Depending on squad size you could expand that list to include the shooter whose "in the hole.

In any case it should NEVER be left to the RO/scorer to reset a stage, but... Often it is.

Great point and I think that this notion should be hammered home during the various holster courses. That way future participants are already "thinking" this way before they get to their first match.
Not helping reset the stage may be ignorance or arrogance; education works on the first and I suppose only shame works on the second. Myself, I just try to set a good example like the others I have learned from.

It will be easier to have people register in advance what with email confirmations etc.

That being said we have internet at EESA for those who do not get it done in advance.

Think of it this way.


Your $25 membership in 3GN gets you a chance to win a Versamax shotgun and other prizes. Then there will be $18 in classifier fees (assuming we get 6 classifer stages competed at $3 each) There will also be a $20 EESA match fee.

I cleared my calendar and paid the $25 to 3-gun Nation. EDIT: Downloaded PDF which answered my questions.
