Does anyone care to explain how the B-models external adjustment works? It specifies its a "5.56 external ballistic adjustment". Is it a matter of turning your elevation turret to set graduations (100, 200, 300m etc) that elcan has approximated for a set 5.56 load, or just a standard fast dial turret like on a lot of the target/tactical scopes (ie. I do the math on required elevation etc)?
The reason I ask is that I would be potentially mounting this on a .308, so I am curious if the external adjustments will be useless to me... Thanks

). My impression was that some scopes are more capable of withstanding the concussion of a given caliber. So I'm curious if Sakonut and xdmer will have more issues than just range etc with this scope as it seems to me that Elcan is saying it is suitable for .223, not necessarily .308?
