My friend has his .22 rifle at the RCMP, has been waiting for at LEAST 6 months?
When he got back from his military course in Ottawa, he gave them a call (They were missing something and he had to send it back out to them, of course they didn't volunteer this info) and they told him another 2 months at least, and that's with it at the top of the queue (or so they told him).
The RCMP bloat the process out to the point where its impossible to do anything. It should take at MOST half a week to receive a gun, test its components, test fire and issue an FRT....
Im betting that the RCMP have been holding out till the election as well, at this point we need to contact our MP's and get them to start barking orders at the RCMP to get stuff done.
Mike Lake has spoken on my friends behalf several times (which is how he got all the info he had), so get your MP's to start sending out letters and making phone calls. THAT is their job!
