I GOT CABIN FEVER
But the sun came out today so I took some pics of my winchesters. Its a small collection that covers all the corners round these parts.

I just felt like sharing!

1. Post-64 Stainless Classic CRF is .270 winchester sporting a Bushnell series 6500 3.5-12 with mildot & side focuss.
2. Post-64 Push Feed is in .35 whelen. 24" Shilen chrome moly barrel, # 5 contour (fairly heavy), fitted to a factory featherweight stock with Pachmayr decellerator pad installed.

OK someone else's turn to gloat.

Brno Model 21H 7X57

Latest pics of my little Brno. Someone usually "talks me out" guns like this ,so figure I better show it off while I can. I should take it out and kill a critter, that way I'd never let it go.
Cheers
Geoff

My 375 Taylor. The real king.:D It's an FN mauser action mated to a Pac Nor barrel.

I just finished changing the rosewood end-tip to wenge today. And I'll post a picture of the new stock I just made for my 25-06 stevens when I put the finishing touches on her tomorrow. Man I love the classics.

.375 Taylor

Very nice Hansol. I also have a .375 Taylor on a 1940 Oberndorf action, currently in a Butler-Creek tuperware stock but would like to stock it like yours someday. Question, have you done much load development? Only load I've tried was about 69grs. IMR4064 behind 270Gr. Hornady's. Hope to take it to Albert for Elk in September.

Hey Longbranch,

I've done a bit of tinkering, but as I have no chronograph it has been tough to figure out specifics. I've played around with a few different bullet weights though, from the 200gr flat nose to the 300gr round nose. All of them seem to shoot well. I use 62 grains of 4064 for the 300gr. You can load heavier, but I get enough of a wallop with that load as is. For the 200 grain and 250 grain bullets I'm using 68 grains.

I'm going out to the range in a few days so I will snap some photos of some groups while I'm out.

Some real beauties there fellas.

This is my custom 7 X 57, had it built about 10 years ago and still my favorite come deer hunting season.
I am having the same guy restock 300 and 375 H&H Sako Mauser's now to look the same, hoping to have them back by summer.
